Talking in terms of globalization I immediately thought of how I seen it take place through my own eyes. Having gone to Paris for a number of days I was able to see another culture live and in person, but at the same time if I really wanted to seek out comforts of home they really were never that far out of reach. This fact really bugged in some weird way, I felt that I was so far from home that I should not have these comforts so close. Globalization is ruining the indigenous and uniqueness of cultures around the world, spreading of transnational expansion of events and agents as the book says I feel is slowly killing the differences in the world and little by little bring the world back together as 1 big continent like pangea.
